Picnic

4 _^1/2 hours. A picnic trip in a Fiat 500 has got to be on the list of things to do before you die! This is absolutely the choice if you have kids (the family in this photo did the tour twice). It’s the great escape, wonderful for those who want to get away from the city center and enjoy some peace and Tuscan charm.

We tour through town and then meander out into Tuscany, enjoying all the sights and photo stops on the way. We drive up to the villa along a private road through olive groves and vineyards of the estate. At the renaissance villa, under a shaded canopy by the pool awaits a fresh sumptuous picnic. The food is ample and local.

We taste their award winning wine and olive oil with a professionally led tasting session. There is time to relax and enjoy a dip in the panoramic pool (bring your towel) before we head back to town through the winding lanes.
